The funeral of Mr. Pham Quoc Anh will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on November 22, 2024 at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.

Mr. Pham Quoc Anh was born on April 11, 1940, in Binh Minh commune, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province. He was the former acting Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; former Assistant to the President for the 2001-2006 term; Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation - President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, 10th and 11th terms; Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 6th and 7th terms; Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, 5th term; National Assembly Delegate, 12th term; President of the ASEAN Lawyers Association (ALA) for the 2009-2012 term.
Mr. Pham Quoc Anh was honored by the Party and State with the 60-year Party membership badge. He also received the Third-class Independence Medal, the Second-class Labor Medal, and the Third-class Resistance War Medal against America for National Salvation. Additionally, he was awarded First, Second, and Third-class Glorious Soldier Medals, along with many other prestigious honors.
