On the morning of April 19, at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport T3 Terminal (HCMC), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration of national key projects and works and major works on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his joy that Terminal T3 was completed and put into operation two months earlier than planned, on the occasion of the national big festival.
This is an important milestone, demonstrating the determination, spirit of overcoming difficulties and consensus from the Central to the local levels.
This situation and results will have a positive impact on the construction progress of Long Thanh International Airport, so that the project can be basically completed in 2025. If it can be done, it will be a miracle ahead of schedule" - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized.

In the atmosphere of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, the Government held a groundbreaking ceremony and online inauguration ceremony for 80 infrastructure projects nationwide, with a total investment of up to 450,000 billion VND. Of which, 47 large-scale, complex technical projects have officially come into operation.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that projects such as the intersection of Ring Road 3 and Ring Road 5, Ring Road 2 of Ho Chi Minh City, the investment project to build Thai Nguyen University, or the Can Gio coastal urban area... are all strategic, playing a particularly important role in ensuring security - defense and promoting socio-economic development.
These works are a testament to the spirit of high determination and synchronous coordination of the entire political system, contributing to bringing the country into a new era of development.

In 2025, the Government is determined to complete a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, prioritizing the development of digital infrastructure, information and telecommunications - an essential foundation for national digital transformation and international integration.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also affirmed that the works inaugurated and started today are practical gratitude to generations who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The head of the Government also expressed his gratitude for the spirit of innovation in thinking, overcoming difficulties of ministries, branches, localities and enterprises. "I have seen the enthusiastic labor spirit at all construction sites. Without this spirit, the project's progress is still sluggish" - the Prime Minister emphasized.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh especially thanked the people for voluntarily relocating their places of residence, cultivation places, and even places of worship to give up land for infrastructure projects. The Prime Minister cited the site clearance for the 500kV power line project - affecting more than 5,000 households - but not being forced to do so in any case, as a testament to the consensus and strength of the people's hearts.
Concluding his speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the key lesson in developing national infrastructure is to mobilize the strength of national solidarity.
With the motto: The Party has directed, the Government has agreed, the National Assembly has agreed, the people have supported, the Fatherland has expected, then we can only discuss doing, not retreating - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed.
