The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City decided to change the name of the Movement Committee to the Social Mobilization Propaganda Department under the agency of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; end the operation of the Organizing Committee - Propaganda Department at the agency of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city. The conference also announced Decision No. 63/QD-MTTQ-BTT on promulgating Regulations on functions, tasks, organization of apparatus, and staffing of the Office and specialized Committees under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city (amended and supplemented).
The conference also announced decisions on the transfer and appointment of cadres and civil servants at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city. Accordingly, Mr. Dang Kien Trung - Deputy Head of the Movement Department and Mr. Pham Van Diep, Deputy Head of the Organization - Propaganda Department came to work at the Office and appointed him as Deputy Chief of Office; Ms. Dang Vu Ha - Acting Head of the Organization - Propaganda Department appointed him as Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Social Mobilization Department...
On the same day, the People's Council of Hong Bang District held the 22nd session, the People's Council of Ngo Quyen District, term XIV, 2021 - 2026, held the 20th session to consider the establishment of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee.
At the meeting, 100% of the district People's Council delegates unanimously voted to pass the resolution on the decision to establish and reorganize a number of specialized agencies. In which, the Department of Internal Affairs will be established on the basis of merging the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; the Department of Culture, Science and Information will be established on the basis of renaming the Department of Culture and Information; the Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Areas will be established on the basis of merging the Department of Economics and the Department of Urban Management. The departments are specialized agencies under the District People's Committee operating in accordance with the provisions of law. The effective date is from March 1, 2025.
After the establishment and reorganization, the People's Committees of Ngo Quyen and Hong Bang districts have 10 specialized departments: Department of Home Affairs; Department of Culture, Science and Information; Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Department of Finance - Planning; Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Department of Health; Department of Education and Training; Department of Justice; District Inspectorate; District People's Council and People's Committee Office.
