On February 16, Hau Giang Provincial Police said that, implementing the policy of the Party, State and the Public Security sector on continuing to arrange and streamline the organization of the local Public Security apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
Recently, Hau Giang Provincial Police held a conference to disseminate and implement Plan No. 282 dated January 25, 2025 of the Central Public Security Party Committee on implementing the Conclusion of the Central Executive Committee and the Politburo on continuing to reorganize and streamline the local public security apparatus.

Clearly recognizing the responsibility in the important period of streamlining the apparatus, 11 department-level leaders, including 5 Department Heads, Heads of District, Town and City Police; 6 Deputy Heads, Deputy Heads of District, Town and City Police and 2 District Police captains have applied for early retirement to facilitate the Provincial Police in arranging and streamlining the apparatus.
