Speaking at the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs, term 2025-2030 held on the afternoon of August 18, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that the recent term was a special term, bearing a historical mark, not only for the Home Affairs sector but also for the entire political system.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, to fulfill the mission, goals and targets set out, the great, comprehensive achievements, bearing a historical mark, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister basically agreed with the tasks and solutions stated in the Political Report submitted to the Congress and requested the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs to pay attention to 6 key tasks.
First of all, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister proposed to promote Party building work in the Party Committee. Strictly implement the 4th Central Resolutions (11th and 12th terms), Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW (13th terms) on promoting the building and rectification of the Party and the political system, associated with promoting the study and following of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style according to Directive No. 05-CT/TW and Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo. Consider this a key, especially important task.
The work of the Ministry of Home Affairs is associated with the organization of the government apparatus, with the quality of cadres, with employment, labor productivity; social security policies and emulation movements.
"It can be said that the function of the Ministry of Home Affairs is very important, the task is very heavy, deciding the effectiveness and efficiency of the State apparatus and social labor productivity. Therefore, the staff of the Ministry of Home Affairs must be good at their profession, knowledgeable in the law, diligent, dedicated, fair, objective..." - he suggested.
Another task assigned by the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister is the leadership of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs to continue implementing the task of streamlining the apparatus and operating local governments at 2 levels.
