Regarding the key tasks in the coming time, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi City Police (CATP) - requested units to seriously and effectively implement the Plan to assess and reduce the number of Commune-level Police Commanders who do not meet the requirements of the tasks, aiming to build a team of Commune-level Police Commanders with qualifications and abilities equal to the tasks, meeting the requirements of the new era.
Professional departments must regularly inspect and urge officers and soldiers in the area to avoid violations of regulations in on-duty, combat, daily life and work and potential risks of violations and law violations. Commune-level police chiefs need to pay attention to arranging, arranging, and using cadres and soldiers flexibly, ensuring work requirements, especially tasks in the field of crime prevention and control.
Tightening discipline and order in the entire force is the foundation for building a strong, disciplined, and modern CATP.
CATP is determined to strictly handle cases of intentional violations, lack of responsibility in performing tasks, no forbidden areas, no exceptions - Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung affirmed.
Party committees, leaders and commanders of units must promote the role and responsibility of leaders in directing and implementing the work of preventing and combating officers and soldiers from committing violations; review, rectify and strictly handle cases with signs of violations.
Focus on reviewing and resolving complaints and denunciations thoroughly and promptly, ensuring accuracy, objectivity and compliance with regulations. Every month, the results of handling petitions are notified to units in the CATP to know and urge implementation. At the same time, the Department of Organization and Personnel is required to notify all units in the CATP about the content of officers and soldiers who violated the law to know and proactively prevent.
The Director of CATP requested to continue to strengthen propaganda work, ensure quality and timeliness; promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation according to Resolution 57, focusing on immediately completing the digitalization of Party work and building forces in 2025.
Emphasizing that the last 3 months of the year are the time to focus on "reaching the finish line", completing, achieving and exceeding the key targets and tasks of the CATP, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung requested all leaders, commanders, officers and soldiers of the units to uphold their sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties and challenges, successfully complete assigned tasks and targets, build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern capital police force.
