On the afternoon of September 17, continuing the program of the 20th Cao Bang Provincial Party Congress, delegates listened to the report of the results of the first Conference of the Executive Committee.
The conference to elect the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee includes 15 comrades; Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, term XIX, re-elected Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, term XX.
Three comrades: Vu Hong Quang, Le Hai Hoa and Be Thanh Tinh hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. The Congress also elected 18 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The Congress listens, discusses, comments on important documents and votes to approve the Resolution for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, Cao Bang set a target of GRDP increasing by an average of 10%/year; budget revenue increasing by 12%/year; the poverty rate decreasing by 3%/year.
By 2030, the average income per capita will reach 75 80 million VND/year; 21 communes will meet new rural standards; build a new provincial general hospital with a scale of 500 beds; 100% of border communes will have inter-level boarding schools; over 90% of people and businesses will use online public services.
Speaking at the closing session of the congress, Secretary of the Quang Provincial Party Committee Minh Cuong affirmed: The Congress Resolution was elaborately drafted, crystallizing the intelligence and will of the entire Party Committee and people, setting out 12 goals, 3 key programs, 3 strategic breakthroughs, 6 major orientations.
Cao Bang is determined to create a breakthrough from the advantages of border gate economy, tourism, linking economic development with cultural preservation, social security, expanding foreign cooperation, and ensuring national defense and security.
Immediately after the Congress, Party committees and Party organizations at all levels will disseminate, propagate and concretize the Resolution.
