On September 16, at the Provincial Conference Center, the 20th Cao Bang Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, held a Bowel Session with the participation of 399 official delegates, representing nearly 63,000 party members in the whole province.
The congress was attended by leaders of Central Party Committees monitoring Cao Bang.
On the local side, there were comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Secretary Quan Minh Cuong; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Quang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hai Hoa; Chairman of the People's Council of Be Thanh Tinh province and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
At the election session, the congress elected the Presidium consisting of 11 comrades, the Secretariat of 3 comrades, the Delegation status Inspection Committee of 7 comrades; approved the program, working regulations and election regulations in the Party. Delegates also listened to the report synthesizing the grassroots' comments on the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the draft Political Report of the Provincial Party Congress.
According to the program, on the morning of September 16, 399 delegates were divided into 5 groups to discuss and contribute opinions to documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress and the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
The content focuses on political reports, action programs for implementing the Resolution, summarizing 40 years of innovation, 15 years of implementing the Party Charter along with proposals and orientations for amendments and supplements.
The 20th Congress of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee will take place from September 15 to 17, 2025 with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development".
The Congress is tasked with evaluating the results of implementing the Resolution of the 19th National Party Congress, determining the direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 period, and discussing and giving comments on the documents of the 14th National Party Congress; electing the 20th Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Delegation to attend the National Congress.
On the same afternoon, the congress continued to discuss in general in the hall, listen to presentations from affiliated party committees and give comments on the Personnel Project of the 20th Provincial Party Committee.
