Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and commended the Group's great, mature and strong efforts, making an important contribution to the rapid and sustainable development of the country, contributing to ensuring "5 saves": Energy security, food security, economic security, social security and security of the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
The Prime Minister raised 9 groups of words to generalise Petrovietnam's efforts and achievements in recent times such as: "Wishing is convergence, knowledge is enhanced, value is increased, cooperation is widely spread, trust is spread, the spirit is warrior, humanity is full, aspiration is reaching far, the future is bright".
According to the Prime Minister, in the context of our country having favorable opportunities and difficulties and challenges intertwined, but more difficulties and challenges, especially issues affecting the group's operations due to supply chain disruptions, natural disasters, climate change, conflicts in many places, outstanding issues that have lasted for many years, etc., the Group has strived to achieve many important and outstanding results.
Typically, comprehensive completion, exceeding all 12/12 targets of the Resolution of the 3rd Congress of the Group. "The Group has successfully restructured, but the most successful is to revive the spirit and spread the trust" - the Prime Minister emphasized.
Implement well the policies and guidelines of the Party and State and proactively contribute positively to the innovation and improvement of institutions, mechanisms and policies on energy development in general and the oil and gas industry in particular.
Focus on innovating the governance model, improving operational efficiency, expanding and pioneering in the fields of science and technology, innovation, and new energy development.
Focus on doing a good job of building a Party strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; consolidate, strengthen solidarity and unity, promote the spirit of innovation, dare to think, dare to do, dare to surpass oneself, blow up aspirations and visions to do great things. The number of cadres and party members who violated discipline has decreased significantly compared to the previous term.

Another issue, according to the Prime Minister, is that the Group has done a good job of humanitarian work, contributing to ensuring social security, especially its contributions to overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods, especially overcoming the consequences of super typhoon Yagi at the end of 2024 and participating in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.
In the coming time, the Prime Minister hopes that the Group will determine a higher target than the set target. At the same time, it is recommended that the Group study and propose appropriate mechanisms and policies for further breakthrough development, striving to be in the group of 5 leading enterprises in Southeast Asia.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the Group's Party Committee continue to thoroughly grasp, strictly implement and creatively apply the Party's guiding principles and methods, implement democratic centralism; self-criticism and criticism; solidarity and unity; closely stick with the People, contribute to bringing happiness and prosperity to the People; operate according to the Party's regulations and the Constitution and laws.
