In any situation, in all parts of the country, the image of the comrades is always a vivid symbol of bravery, energy, optimism and iron belief in the future of the country.
Many comrades have actively participated in patriotic emulation movements, played exemplary roles at the grassroots level, contributed intelligence, experience and enthusiasm in political and social activities, built cultural life in residential areas, protected security and order in the locality, helped each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and care for the younger generation. There are comrades who are prestigious in the community, building a bridge of solidarity between all classes of people. There is a comrade who is an example of a startup in peacetime, daring to think, daring to do, building an effective production model, creating jobs for workers. I am also very happy and moved to see that in recent years, the Veterans Association, the Vietnam Youth Volunteers Association and the militia and self -defense militia across the country have always maintained the revolutionary fire, promoting the quality of the "Uncle Ho's Army", the shocking spirit of the wartime youth and the resilient, indomitable tradition, loyalty to the Fatherland. In particular, all levels of the Association have done very well the role of fostering revolutionary ideals, patriotic traditional education for the younger generation, organizing many deep gratitude activities, contributing to the effective implementation of the policy of "drinking water to remember the source", and always caring and practically taking care of the material and spiritual life for members and former teammates - not to let anyone be forgotten or left behind.

Our Vietnamese people have a traditional tradition of drinking water, remembering the source, being grateful and gratitude to previous generations. In each revolutionary period, no matter how difficult it is, our Party and State always attach importance to and implement the best possible social policies for those who have contributed to the country, those who have contributed and sacrificed for independence and freedom for the Fatherland.
Over the past years, the work of "gratitude" has always been one of the leading political tasks. The system of legal policies with preferential people with meritorious services has been constantly improved, increasingly synchronized, human and close to reality. Guidelines and policies such as subsidies, 100%health insurance, housing support, free medical examination and treatment, to the vocational training program, preferential loans, job creation, and care for children with meritorious services, all of which show the deep responsibility and morality of the Party and the State for those who have contributed and sacrificed blood for the country.
In particular, in Resolution No. 42-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023, the Party Central Committee set a goal: by 2030, 100% of meritorious people and families of meritorious people will have an average living standard or better, with comprehensive care in material and spiritual aspects. We are facing 3 very important key tasks of the country: First, firmly protecting the Fatherland of Vietnam in stability and peace. Second, the country's development must achieve the set goals by 2030, 2045 - 100 years of Vietnam's independence, becoming a developed country with high income. Third, improve the lives of people in all aspects, fulfill Uncle Ho's wishes that everyone be prosperous, happy, and everyone be educated.
To carry out these three tasks, all Vietnamese people must be responsible for protecting the Fatherland in peace, stability and solidarity. Everyone must work and produce, must be creative, create more wealth and material things for the country, so that the country can develop, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers. The Party and the State must ensure a prosperous, happy, equal and free life for all people. People should not be left hungry. Everyone is given health care, everyone is educated, everyone is entitled to enjoy the revolutionary fruits of an independent and free country.
