On July 24, the Party Executive Committee of the Party Agencies of Cao Bang province, term I, 2020 - 2025, held the third (expanded) Conference to review the work in the first 6 months of the year, deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of the year and evaluate the preparation work for the Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Comrade Vu Hong Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Central Committee chaired the conference.
The conference announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee on appointing Mr. Vu Hong Quang to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2020 - 2025 term; at the same time, appointed 10 additional officials to the Executive Committee, bringing the total to 23 people.
The Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee officially came into operation from February 10, 2025, including 12 affiliated grassroots party organizations with 859 party members.
In the past time, the Party Committee has focused on comprehensive leadership in all aspects of work, grasping the ideology of cadres and party members; perfecting the organization, apparatus, and personnel; and implementing inspection and supervision in accordance with the provisions of the Party Charter.
Regarding the preparation for the new term Congress, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee has fully grasped the directives from the Central and Provincial Party Committees; directed subcommittees and advisory units to develop content to serve the Congress. Currently, 5/12 Party cells and Party Committees under the Party have successfully organized grassroots congresses.
Delegates attending the conference agreed on the targets for the last 6 months of the year: 100% of Party's guiding documents and State laws were thoroughly grasped; 100% of Party committees and inspection committees effectively implemented plans to supervise and handle petitions; over 90% of grassroots party organizations completed their tasks well; strived to admit 7 or more new party members.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Vu Hong Quang emphasized the need to closely follow the set targets, enhance the sense of responsibility, solidarity overcome difficulties, link professional tasks with the major goals of the province, ensure the progress of organizing the first Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
