Also on the morning of July 25, at the Dien Bien Provincial Cultural Conference Center, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and the Working Group presented 100 gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong affirmed: The Party, State and People always respect and are deeply grateful for the great contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution. Today's gratitude acts are not only a responsibility, but also an order from the hearts of every cadre, party member, and every citizen".
Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong suggested that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province focus on performing well the task of caring for people with meritorious services.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also requested Dien Bien province to proactively propose to the Central Government to review and perfect legal policies for meritorious people in the direction of fairness, transparency, and the right subjects. At the same time, the policy is expanded to cases with real contributions to the revolution but have not been fully recognized.
Previously, on the afternoon of July 24, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong and the working delegation offered incense at the General Vo Nguyen Giap Memorial Site (Muong Phang Commune), the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu battlefield and A1 Martyrs' Cemetery.
