On July 25, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and the working delegation had a working session with leaders of the Institute for Nuclear Research (under the Vietnam Institute of nuclear Power) in Lam Dong province.
At the meeting, Director of the Ka Dong Vu Nuclear Research Institute reported to the Deputy Prime Minister on the operation of the Institute since its establishment, and the orientation of the Institute's activities in the coming time.
As the only domestic facility operating and exploiting the Nuclear Reactive Load, every year the Institute welcomes hundreds of students and graduate students from universities across the country to practice in laboratories in many fields such as nuclear reactor technology, environmental radio monitoring, radi radi radi radiation dosage measurement, medical radioactive synthesis application, radiation technology, ... and the application of reactors in basic research.

The Institute has operated a Reactive Lo with more than 71,500 hours of service for scientific research, product production, services and human resource training.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son highly appreciated the Nuclear Research Institute for mastering technology and safe operation of the Reactive Lo during its construction and development; researching and producing many types of drugs for chuancation and treatment; effectively applying research in industry, agriculture, environmental protection, radiation monitoring; training and fostering human resources, gradually building the national nuclear science and technology potential.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that developing nuclear energy is a strategic vision, requiring a comprehensive approach from institutions, infrastructure, governance systems, technology, to people. In which, humans play a decisive role.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the Institute continue to effectively manage and exploit the Reactory Load and research equipment systems; continue to improve potential to approach the level of advanced countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister believes that the Institute of Nuclear Research will continue to be the leading bird in the fold, pioneering in effectively contributing to the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, aiming to realize the goal of becoming a country with modern industry, high average income by 2030, developed country, high income by 2045.
