According to the investor's report, the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh project is 61.7 km long, passing through Binh Dinh province 19.6 km, Phu Yen province 42.1 km.
The completion progress is according to the contract in December 2025 and it is expected to shorten the basic completion time to September 2025. The parties are striving to complete the entire project before September 30.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh inspected the actual construction of Son Trieu tunnel and the section under the Project.
At the construction site, contractors are organizing 78 construction teams, mobilizing 903 vehicles and 237 engineers and 2,320 workers. To date, the accumulated construction output has reached VND 7,739/10,178 billion, equivalent to 76.04% of the contract value.
In particular, the Son Trieu tunnel project has completed the construction of both tunnels, reaching 100%, the units are implementing the completion of equipment, lighting, roadbed and operator.
Current difficulties include 3 construction packages, so far, the construction output has reached 76.04%, about 0.86% behind the basic plan. Currently, the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway component project still has some points that have not been handed over the site...
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh requested contractors to strictly control the quality of the project. For difficult terrain locations, we must also try harder and speed up the progress.
