Accordingly, households that lost their homes were supported with 100 million VND (including 40 million VND from the State budget and 60 million VND from enterprises); households with damaged houses were supported with 45 million VND (25 million VND from the State and 20 million VND from enterprises).

Viet Hong commune had 1 death; 14 households suffered damage to their houses, including 3 collapsed houses, 7 houses were severely damaged, 4 houses had their roofs blown off, and 39 households had to be urgently evacuated.
Over 100 hectares of rice were damaged and lost, many cattle and poultry were swept away by floods, hundreds of hectares of seafood were damaged, 38 traffic points were eroded on inter-commune roads, 15 landslides on inter-village routes, 10 electric poles were broken, and 24 irrigation works were severely damaged. The total damage is estimated at nearly 48 billion VND.
