This activity of Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly coincides with International Children's Day (January 1). Accordingly, General Secretary To Lam's wife, Ms. Ngo Phuong Ly and benefactors visited and presented nearly 500 gifts to students at Huoi Un kindergartens and primary schools (Muong Pon commune) and Nam Ty 1, 2 kindergartens and primary schools (Hua Thanh commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province).
Attending the program were Mr. Pham Gia Tuc, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Mua A Vang, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Province.
To encourage students to try to study and encourage their parents to continue to keep the fire of interest in education, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly and the members of the working group went to each table, giving small gifts to the children. The gifts include children's books, backpacks, water bottles, candy and some school supplies.
Eager to receive the gifts, many students immediately wore their backpacks and cried out "Thank you, guys! ".
Sharing the difficulties of Nam Ty 1, 2 schools, the General Secretary's wife respectfully donated two clean water projects, thereby solving one of the concerns of teachers and students, contributing to ensuring the health as well as teaching and learning conditions of teachers and students here.
She also happily caught up with a children's song, applauded and sang with the children.
Many students went to where she was sitting, respectfully giving her simple gifts such as corn and cassava... made by their own families.
At Huoi Un village school, General Secretary To Lam's wife and leaders of the Central Party and local offices personally presented gifts to students and the school with two boarding kitchens.
This will be the place where they can "fill their bellies" in their journey to conquer letters and the path of knowledge, for a brighter future.
At both schools, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly expressed her emotions when witnessing the conditions in the border areas such as remote roads, no electricity and clean water, but teachers and students still stick to the school and class. She also shared her joy at seeing the health and determination to teach and learn of the teachers and students here.
