On July 23, according to information from the 108 Central Military Hospital, the two Deputy Directors of the Hospital, Colonel Pham Thai Giang - Deputy Director of the Hospital (in charge of Internal Medicine) and Colonel Vu Ngoc Lam - Deputy Director of the Hospital (in charge of Science, Technology, Training and International Cooperation) have just been promoted to the rank of Major General of the Vietnam People's Army by the President.
General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - presented the decision to promote the rank of Major General to these two senior military officers.
