National Assembly continues digital transformation, applying AI in legislative work

According to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly's agencies continue to digitally transform and apply AI in legislative and supervisory work.

On the morning of February 23, at the National Assembly House, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the spring meeting of full-time National Assembly deputies at the Central level, officials and employees of the National Assembly.

Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated the National Assembly and agencies of the National Assembly for strictly implementing Directive 55 of the Secretariat on organizing Binh Ngo Tet.

Looking back at 2025, the National Assembly Chairman respectfully acknowledged and warmly praised and welcomed the results that the National Assembly and the agencies of the National Assembly have achieved.

In particular, in 2025, the National Assembly passed 89 laws. "This is a very great feat for the 15th National Assembly. This is the effort of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, the National Assembly Standing Committee and the collective of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and laborers of the National Assembly agencies" - the National Assembly Chairwoman emphasized.

The National Assembly Chairwoman stated clearly that 2026 is a year to break through to develop the country, the first year to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the first year to implement the 5-year socio-economic plan for the period 2026 - 2030. Therefore, the Party Committee of the National Assembly, the National Assembly, and the agencies of the National Assembly need to focus on implementing a number of key tasks.

In which, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly must have a very specific action program to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.

At the same time, leading and directing the successful election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.

The National Assembly Chairwoman also requested early and remote preparation for the 1st Session of the 16th National Assembly, which is expected to open on April 6, 2026.

The National Assembly and its agencies continue to digitally transform, digitize, and apply artificial intelligence AI in legislative work, supervision, and decision-making on important issues of the country.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man also welcomed the Ethnic Council and Committees for studying and completing the digital literacy program certificates during Tet.
