Reviewing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh requested agencies to continue promoting a sense of responsibility and closely coordinate to ensure synchronous and effective implementation.

On August 19, in Hanoi, Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026) chaired a meeting to review the implementation of commemorative activities.

Summarizing the implementation of the Commemorative activities, Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung said that in the past time, agencies and units have actively and urgently implemented assigned tasks, striving to ensure the quality and progress set out. Currently, through the synthesis of reports of the units, it shows that there are basically no difficulties or problems.

The Secretary General of the National Assembly and the Head of the National Assembly Office emphasized that under the close direction of the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee, the agencies have issued a Plan to implement tasks, in which the tasks are completed correctly and earlier than the set plan.

According to the Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office, information and propaganda work has been implemented systematically and promptly by the National Assembly Office.

In particular, projects and propaganda plans have been issued for each event; ensuring close coordination with central press management agencies, news agencies, and newspapers, contributing to timely, complete, and intensive propaganda activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Assembly of Vietnam.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh highly appreciated the proactive spirit, close coordination and efforts of the agencies, especially the National Assembly Office as the standing agency of the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that the National Assembly Office should have a summary report on achievements and appropriate awards for collectives and individuals with outstanding contributions to organizing commemorative activities.

Emphasizing the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam as a period of political activity of special significance, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also noted that it is necessary to focus highly, complete key tasks in the third quarter of 2025, so that the fourth quarter of 2025 can announce products and carefully prepare for the National Commemoration Ceremony at the end of December 2025.

With a huge amount of work ahead, requiring greater concentration, determination and responsibility, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested agencies and units to continue to promote a sense of responsibility, closely coordinate to ensure synchronous and effective implementation, successfully completing all tasks, contributing to the successful organization of the Commemoration Ceremony.
