Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that in April 2025, the whole country will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; simultaneously starting and inaugurating 80 strategic infrastructure projects and works.
The Government prepared and served well the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee and prepared more than 60 documents and papers to serve and submit to the National Assembly at the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; continued to perform regular tasks.
The Government, ministries, branches and localities continue to reorganize the apparatus of the political system, build a 2-level local government with many accompanying documents for implementation; promptly deploy tasks under the direction of the Central Government, the Politburo, and General Secretary To Lam on responding to the new US tariff policies; prepare and implement important foreign affairs activities.
Highly appreciated the ministries and branches have urgently developed the Politburo to promulgate Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated 4.5.2025 on the development of the private economy, the Prime Minister said that the Government is urgently developing the draft submission to the National Assembly for promulgation of the Resolution on the implementation of Resolution 68 of the Politburo; Preparing to start, inaugurated 80 projects and projects on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution successfully and National Day 2.9, including inauguration of the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh and started the Tu Lien Bridge (Hanoi).

According to the Minister, the volume and scope of work in May and the second quarter is very large, many tasks are revolutionary and unprecedented, must be implemented simultaneously, quickly, ensure smoothness and efficiency, the Ministry of Finance proposes a number of key tasks and solutions that need to be focused on in May and the second quarter.
Firstly, closely coordinating with the National Assembly's agencies, well preparing the content of acquiring and explaining the amendment of the Constitution, the Bills, Resolutions, Reports, ensuring high consensus when the National Assembly reviews and approved at the 9th session, especially the Government's contents to submit to the National Assembly for additions at the meeting.
Ministries and branches urgently issue and submit to the Government to issue documents guiding the Laws and Resolutions immediately after being approved by the National Assembly.
Second, ensure the progress of work related to the arrangement of administrative units and the development of a 2-level local government model according to Decisions No. 758/QD-TTg, 759/QD-TTg, direction of the Government and the Prime Minister.
Third, promote negotiations with the US, while combating counterfeit goods, promoting exports, and developing harmonious and sustainable trade with other countries.
Fourth, continue to improve institutions and laws, improve the investment and business environment.
Fifth, promote traditional growth drivers of domestic investment and consumption and develop new growth drivers.
