It is expected that on May 19, Hanoi will start construction of Tu Lien Bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge.
Regarding site clearance to implement the Tu Lien bridge construction project, speaking with Lao Dong on May 5, a representative of the Tay Ho District Investment and Construction Project Management Board (DTXD) said that the boundary for site clearance projects in the district is in 3 wards of Yen Phu, Quang An, and Tu Lien.
The total area of recovered land and cleared land is expected to be about 266,524.1m2. The total number of cases of land acquisition is 558 cases (322 cases of residential land; 230 cases of agricultural land; 3 cases are organizations and 3 cases are public land).
In Tay Ho district, there are 194 cases in need of resettlement (of which Quang An ward has 84 cases; Yen Phu ward has 56 cases and Tu Lien ward has 54 cases). The total cost of site clearance is more than VND 2,884 billion.
"On April 29, the District People's Committee issued a notice of land recovery for project implementation. Regarding the submission of specific land price decisions as a basis for calculating compensation, support, and resettlement, the specific land appraisal council of the project held a land price appraisal meeting, expected to issue a specific land price decision before May 9" - a representative of the Tay Ho District Construction Investment Project Management Board informed.
Tay Ho District is also focusing on coordinating with relevant departments and branches to determine housing funds and resettlement land funds. The completion time is expected to be in May 2025.

In Long Bien district, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Long Bien District Party Committee Dinh Thi Thu Huong said that up to now, the work of reviewing the total area of land to be recovered has been basically completed. Accordingly, the total land area within the boundary is 73,794.05m2. Regarding residential land related to 63 households with an area of about 7,700m2. Agricultural land related to 15 households with an area of about 4,175m2.
The District People's Committee directs specialized departments to coordinate with the city's departments, branches and sectors to carefully review the work to be carried out when implementing the project, compile total area within boundaries, classify land groups to prepare plans to effectively implement site clearance and compensation and resettlement support policies to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Currently, the District People's Committee is coordinating and proposing to the Departments, branches and sectors of the City People's Committee to implement the following contents such as: Approving resettlement locations as a basis for people to meet to implement site clearance; working with the Ministry of National Defense on land acquisition for national defense land and proposing specific instructions for religious land areas...
Along with Tay Ho and Long Bien districts, the work of site clearance and preparation of resettlement land funds is also being resolutely implemented by Dong Anh district. In Dong Anh district, the total area of land recovered and cleared is expected to be about 261,100m2.
On April 11, Dong Anh District People's Committee sent a report to the City People's Committee and the Department of Finance for evaluating the pre -feasibility study report. Expected to approve the project investment policy in the second quarter of 2025; approving the estimates of investment preparation for the second quarter/2025; approving plans, routes, 1/500 ratio in the second quarter/2025; Evaluation, evaluation and approval of environmental impact assessment reports in the third quarter of 2025; Make, evaluate and approve the project feasibility study report in the third quarter of 2025 and organize compensation, support and implementation of ground clearance will be in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The investment project to build Tu Lien Bridge and the two ends of the bridge (from the intersection with Nghi Tam road to the intersection with Truong Sa street) has a total length of about 5.15km. Preliminary total investment of the project 20,171 billion dong. The project was implemented in the period 2025 - 2027.
