After two general training sessions, from 8:00 p.m. tonight (8. 27), the state-level preliminary approval allowed the parade, the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day 2.9 (mission A80) taking place at Ba Dinh Square and central streets of Hanoi.

According to the plan, the scale of the training session will be similar to the official ceremony with the participation of all parades, parades as well as artillery vehicles and other forces.

This is the 3rd A80 parade and parade at Ba Dinh Square, before the State-level General Approval Ceremony from 6:30 a.m. on August 30. The official Lunar New Year, parade, and parade will take place from 6:30 a.m. on National Day, September 2.

The preliminary approval program consists of two parts: Performing the contents of rituals and rituals of the Party and State and parading and parading. The content of the parade and march of the Army, foreign military, and police forces; the Army's weapons and equipment system, and special vehicles of the Police.

There are 6 forces participating in the parade and parade including: Traditional torch carrier and Artillery pieces; Fireworks Force; Air Force to celebrate.

The parade and marching forces include: 4 Regimental forces; 43 groups representing the People's Armed Forces including 26 Army groups, 17 Police groups); 4 foreign military groups including: China, Russia, Laos, Cambodia; Vehicles, military artillery, police special vehicles; Marines at sea; 12 mass parade groups; 1 Culture and Sports group.

The standing forces include the Stadium Veterans and 29 standing blocks (18 armed forces standing opposite the A stands; 11 mass blocks standing on both sides of the armed forces; Forces arranged in shape and in letters.

The Press Center for the 80th Anniversary of National Day was opened to serve information and propaganda work.

Time: Operating from August 26, 2025 to September 2, 2025 (usually open from 08:00 to 17:00).

Opening hours for the preliminary approval date: From 2:00 p.m. on August 27, 2025 to the end of the Pre- approve Program.

Opening hours for the rehearsal day: From 6:00 p.m. on August 29, 2025 to the end of the rehearsal program on August 30, 2025.

Opening hours for the Ceremony: From 6:00 p.m. on September 1, 2025 to September 2, 2025.

Location: National Assembly Press Center, basement B1 of the National Assembly building, Doc Lap Street, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

Hanoi Police adjust road closure plan on August 27

In order to serve the preliminary approval meeting to prepare for the A80 grandstand at 8:00 p.m. on August 27, Hanoi City Police extended the road closure from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. the following day.

Compared to the announcement on August 13, the time for banning, temporarily banning, and restricting vehicles is 5 hours earlier, starting from 12:00 on August 27 to 2:00 on August 28.

The routes that are completely banned from vehicles (except for vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving celebrations) include: Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue (from Hung Vuong to Van Cao), Mai Xuan Thuong, Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hung Vuong, Hoang Van Thu, Doc Lap, Mot Col Pagoda, Bac Son, Ton That Dam, Nguyen Canh Chan, Hoang Dieu, Cua Bac, Yen Phu, Thanh Nien.

In addition, there are also streets: Dien Bien Phu, Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Le Hong Phong, Ong Ich Khiem, Ngoc Ha, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Chu Van An, Ton Duc Thang, Cat Linh, Trinh Hoai Duc, Hang Chao, Tran Phu, Son Tay, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, Van Cao, Nghi Tam, Doi Can, Doc La-Pho, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Duan, Tran Nhan Tong (from Le Duan to Quang Trung), Trang Thi, Hang Khay, Trang Tien, Co Tan, Phan Chu Trinh (from Hai Ba Trung to Trang Tien).

Le Thanh Tong and Tong Dan streets (from Ly Dao Thanh to Trang Tien), Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du, Quang Trung (from Ly Thuong Kiet to Trang Thi), Ly Thai To, Nguyen Huu Huan, Ngo Quyen (from State Bank Square to Trang Tien), Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Lang (from Lang Ha to Tran Duy Hung) are also completely banned during the above time frame.

Thus, compared to the second training session on August 24, the number of routes banned has not changed, but the total ban period has been extended.

Also from 12:00 on August 27 to 2:00 on August 28, Hanoi City Police temporarily banned vehicles on routes inside Ring Road 1, except for vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the Ceremony, vehicles with priority rights, vehicles performing official duties, buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles to resolve and fix incidents.

Routes in the area from Ring Road 1 to Ring Road 2 will be temporarily banned for trucks with a total design weight of 1.5 tons or more, passenger cars with 16 seats or more. The temporary ban comes when a convoy of vehicles serving the A80 festival passes, after which vehicles can circulate normally.

The city police recommend that passenger transport vehicles with less than 16 seats, private cars, and motorbikes limit travel on routes from Ring Road 2 to Ring Road 3; vehicles limit travel from Ring Road 1 to Ring Road 2.

Some routes from Ring Road 3 to the suburbs such as National Highway 32, Cau Dien, Ho Tung Mau, Le Duc Tho, Le Quang Dao, Thang Long Avenue, Lang Tuong Road, National Highway 21A, Ho Chi Minh Road, National Highway 6, Quang Trung, Tran Phu, Nguyen Trai, Provincial Road 419, Provincial Road 429, Vo Nguyen Giap, National Highway 18, Hanoi City Police limit traffic (except buses, garbage trucks, incident handling vehicles, vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the Commemoration Ceremony).
