Hanoi Police adjust road closure plan on August 27
In order to serve the preliminary approval meeting to prepare for the A80 grandstand at 8:00 p.m. on August 27, Hanoi City Police extended the road closure from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. the following day.
Compared to the announcement on August 13, the time for banning, temporarily banning, and restricting vehicles is 5 hours earlier, starting from 12:00 on August 27 to 2:00 on August 28.
The routes that are completely banned from vehicles (except for vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving celebrations) include: Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue (from Hung Vuong to Van Cao), Mai Xuan Thuong, Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hung Vuong, Hoang Van Thu, Doc Lap, Mot Col Pagoda, Bac Son, Ton That Dam, Nguyen Canh Chan, Hoang Dieu, Cua Bac, Yen Phu, Thanh Nien.

Also from 12:00 on August 27 to 2:00 on August 28, Hanoi City Police temporarily banned vehicles on routes inside Ring Road 1, except for vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the Ceremony, vehicles with priority rights, vehicles performing official duties, buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles to resolve and fix incidents.
Routes in the area from Ring Road 1 to Ring Road 2 will be temporarily banned for trucks with a total design weight of 1.5 tons or more, passenger cars with 16 seats or more. The temporary ban comes when a convoy of vehicles serving the A80 festival passes, after which vehicles can circulate normally.
The city police recommend that passenger transport vehicles with less than 16 seats, private cars, and motorbikes limit travel on routes from Ring Road 2 to Ring Road 3; vehicles limit travel from Ring Road 1 to Ring Road 2.
