Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and promulgated a Resolution regulating the number and structure of proportions of Prosecutor ranks of the People's Procuracy and the Military Procuracy.
According to the Resolution, the total number of Procurators of the People's Procuracy at all levels is 11,285 people (excluding the number of Procurators of the Supreme People's Procuracy).
The number and structure of proportions of Prosecutor ranks of the People's Procuracies are as follows:
The number of Prosecutors of the Supreme People's Procuracy is 622 people, of which the proportion of Senior Prosecutors is no more than 39.9%, Intermediate Prosecutors is no more than 35.8%, and the rest are Primary Prosecutors;
The number of Prosecutors of the Provincial People's Procuracy is 3,732 people, of which the proportion of Senior Prosecutors is no more than 9.0%, Intermediate Prosecutors is no more than 73.9%, and the rest are Primary Prosecutors;
The number of Procurators of the Regional People's Procuracy is 6,931 people, of which the proportion of Senior Procurators is no more than 5.6%, Intermediate Procurators is no more than 25.7%, and the rest are Primary Procurators.
Also according to the Resolution, the total number of Prosecutors of the Military Procuracies at all levels is 448 people. The number and structure of Prosecutor ranks of the Military Procuracies are as follows:
The number of Prosecutors of the Central Military Procuracy is 42 people, of which the proportion of Senior Prosecutors is no more than 81.0%, and the rest are Intermediate Prosecutors;
The number of Prosecutors of the Military Region Procuracy and equivalents is 142 people, of which the proportion of Senior Prosecutors is no more than 18.3%, and the rest are Intermediate Prosecutors;
The number of Prosecutors of the Regional Military Procuracy is 264 people, of which the proportion of intermediate Prosecutors is no more than 22.7%, and the rest are primary Prosecutors.
