On November 26, the Office of the People's Committee of Son La province informed that the People's Committee of the province has just issued a decision on the establishment of a Council to appraise land use plans of agricultural and forestry companies using land of agricultural and forestry farm origin in the area.
Decision 2489 clearly states that the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of agriculture and forestry is the Chairman of the Council; the Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment is the Standing Vice Chairman of the Council; the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is the Vice Chairman of the Council.
Council members include: Chief Inspector of the province; Director of the Department of Finance; Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Director of the Department of Construction; Director of the Department of Justice; Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee; Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts where there is agricultural and forestry land such as Mai Son, Phu Yen, Moc Chau, Van Ho, Muong La, Song Ma, Sop Cop.
The Council is responsible for advising and assisting the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in appraising land use plans of agricultural and forestry companies using land of agricultural and forestry farm origin in Son La province.
For members who are Chairmen of the People's Committees of the above districts, they only participate in appraising land use plans of agricultural and forestry companies using land in the local area.
The Appraisal Council begins operating from the date of establishment (23.22.2024) and self-dissolves and ceases operations after completing its tasks.
Previously, the People's Committee of Son La province also issued Decision No. 2483, establishing a Council to appraise land use plans recovered from agricultural and forestry companies to hand over to localities in the area.
