At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee approved the list of 20 members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee of the 19th tenure who retired, transferred to work, and did not re-elect the Provincial Party Executive Committee of the 20th tenure.
On behalf of the 20th Provincial Party Committee and the entire Congress, Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh - Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee respectfully thanked, acknowledged and highly appreciated the important contributions of the members of the 19th Provincial Party Committee who have retired and transferred to work.
Next, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the voting session to approve the Report on synthesizing opinions on the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.
The Congress voted to pass the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 with the main contents: Building a clean and strong Party and political system.
Maintain an annual growth rate of 2 digits; strongly shift the growth model from width to depth, making Thanh Hoa one of the major centers of the region and the country in energy industry, processing and manufacturing industry, large-scale high-value added agriculture, tourism, and logistics services.
Develop breakthroughs in science - technology, innovation and digital transformation; maintain the Innovation Index (PII) and the annual Provincial Digital Transformation Index (DTI) in the group of 10 leading provinces and cities nationwide.
Developing education and training, healthcare, culture and sports in the direction of standardization, modernization and socialization; maintaining the achievements of cutting-edge education and high-performance sports in the group of leading provinces and cities in the country; making Thanh Hoa one of the centers of high-tech medical services in the North Central region.
Minimize environmental pollution, use resources reasonably, economically and effectively and adapt well to climate change.
Maintain political stability; ensure national defense, security, social order and safety.
Clearly improve the material, cultural and spiritual life of the people.
Strive to make Thanh Hoa among the leading provinces in the country by 2030, and become a beautiful, civilized, and happy province by 2045.
The draft Resolution also sets out 32 main targets, 8 key tasks and 3 strategic breakthroughs. At the same time, many major groups of solutions were proposed on Party building and the political system; on economic development; on science - technology, culture - society, resource management and environmental protection; on national defense - security and foreign affairs to successfully and comprehensively implement the goals and tasks set by the Congress.
Speaking at the closing session of the Congress, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh emphasized: After 3 days of urgent and serious work, with a high sense of solidarity, democracy, and responsibility towards the Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in the province, up to this point, the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, has completed all the contents and programs set out.
Based on the Prime Minister's speech, the Congress discussed frankly, democratically, objectively, and openly, participating in contributing many profound opinions to the documents of the 19th Provincial Party Committee to the Congress.
In particular, the opinions discussed focused on analyzing and clarifying the achievements in the recent term, while pointing out the remaining, limitations, weaknesses, supplementing and enriching, deepening the causes, lessons learned in leadership, direction, management and implementation.
The Congress elected 33 official delegates and 2 delegates in absentia, representing the intelligence, aspirations and will of the Party Committee, army and people of all ethnic groups in Thanh Hoa province to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Previously, the Congress elected the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XX, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 69 people, the Provincial Party Standing Committee consisting of 15 people; Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee re-elected the Provincial Party Secretary with 100% approval.
