To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMC) (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026), on the afternoon of March 26, in Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with typical, promising young Vietnamese faces and typical Youth Union officials.
Speaking at the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his wish that outstanding young Vietnamese faces, outstanding youth union officials and youth union members nationwide will constantly strive to rise up, realize their aspirations, dreams, ambitions, and ideals; well implement the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho: "Nothing is difficult - Only fear that the heart will not be strong - Digging mountains and filling seas - Determination will surely lead to success".
In the coming time, the Prime Minister requests the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to launch practical, effective, and deeply humane emulation movements and develop specific programs, plans, and solutions to create conditions for youth to contribute and dedicate in all fields; focusing on the following "6 pioneers":
First, pioneering in thinking innovation and in creative actions. Vietnamese youth need to eliminate stereotypical thinking, cultivate critical thinking, systemic thinking and be ready to embrace the new; must look far, look broad; think deeply, do big; value time, intelligence and decisiveness at the right time.
Second, pioneering in science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation, and green transformation.
Vietnamese youth must dare to face, dedicate themselves and master new fields in science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, green transformation, creating breakthrough projects and products, promoting labor productivity growth, creating businesses with outstanding growth potential, " unicorn startups" of Vietnam, contributing to bringing the country to breakthrough and sustainable development.
Third, pioneering in nationalizing human civilization into our country and internationalizing the advanced culture, imbued with the identity of the Vietnamese nation to the world. Vietnamese youth must constantly break through, create new, unique products imbued with national cultural identity.
At the same time, selecting and absorbing the cultural quintessence of humanity, contributing to the strong development of the cultural industry and entertainment industry, creating new cultural values of regional and world stature.
Fourth, to be pioneers in serving the Fatherland, serving the people, ensuring social security, "not leaving anyone behind". Youth must not be afraid of difficulties, not afraid of hardship, and have the aspiration to contribute to the country's development.
Ready to study, work, ready to fight, maintain national security, order and sovereignty, ready to go anywhere, do anything the Fatherland needs, ready to sacrifice themselves and act for a civilized, happy, and developed community.
Fifth, be pioneers and proactive in exchanges, foreign affairs and international integration. Constantly improve and enhance foreign language skills, communication skills with friends and foreign partners; actively participate in forums and cooperation in the region and internationally; become global citizens, contributing to affirming the level, capacity, bravery, intelligence, position and values of Vietnamese people in general, and Vietnamese youth in particular in the international arena.
Sixth, pioneering in solidarity, love, helping each other in life, studying, working, researching, contributing, working, laying the foundation for the great national unity and promoting "national love, compatriotism", the strength of the entire nation; "listening with sincerity, sharing with heart, acting with specific products".
