On behalf of the Inspection Team, Mr. Bui The Dung - Deputy Director of Department IX, Head of the Inspection Team - announced the full text of Decision No. 696 dated July 23, 2025 of the Government Inspectorate on the inspection of projects with difficulties and problems under the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, the Inspection Team consists of 16 members led by Mr. Bui The Dung - Deputy Director of Department IX.
The inspection period is from the implementation of the project to July 1, 2025. If necessary, the content related to the above inspection period can be considered before or after, the inspection period is 45 days, from the date of announcement of the inspection decision.
At the announcement ceremony of the inspection decision, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuc - Head of the Department of Supervision and Appraisal of Area 1 and the fields of agriculture, environment and industry (Department 1, Department XIII), Head of the Supervisory Team announced the decision to establish the Supervisory Team for the Inspection Team's activities of the Inspection Team Decision No. 696 dated July 23, 2025 of the Government Inspectorate.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Truong Thanh Hoai said that the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade will direct affiliated units related to the 6 projects inspected this time to give the highest priority in coordination with the Inspection Team.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade will direct investors and project managers of 6 units, especially for projects using ODA capital, to strictly comply with the reporting information regime, to ensure the completion of general tasks according to the direction of the Prime Minister assigning tasks to the Government Inspectorate and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Deputy Inspector General of the Government Le Tien Dat stated that this inspection aims to clarify the causes of shortcomings, delays, low efficiency, risk of loss and waste of resources for 6 projects with difficulties and problems under the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. On that basis, report to competent authorities for consideration, handling and resolution to unlock resources, contributing to promoting economic development.
The Deputy Inspector General of the Government requested that the inspection process must avoid disrupting the normal operations of the inspected units.
The inspection team must seriously and fully implement the contents in accordance with the provisions of law and the inspection plan approved by the Government Inspector General, ensuring the right focus, key points, quality and highest efficiency; members of the inspection team must properly perform their duties and tasks in accordance with their assigned authority.
