On the afternoon of October 21, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting of the Government Standing Committee to review the situation and results of the implementation of work tasks in various fields in the first 10 months of 2025, key tasks in the last months of 2025.
Through the monitoring of the Government Office, from the beginning of the year to October 20, 2025, the Government and the Prime Minister assigned ministries, agencies and localities 9,831 tasks, including 1,173 key tasks.
To date, ministries, agencies and localities have completed 7,892 tasks (reaching 80.3%), 1,602 (about 16.47%) of tasks within the deadline, 319 tasks that have expired and have not been completed (3.23%).
In nearly 10 months, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers chaired more than 1,900 conferences, meetings, worked, and traveled to localities and grassroots levels, nearly 2 times higher than the same period last year.
In general, despite having to handle a large number of tasks and work in the past 10 months, with high determination and great efforts, the Government, the Prime Minister, all levels, sectors and localities have directed and operated resolutely, synchronously, effectively, with focus and key points and achieved outstanding achievements.

In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that in general, the tasks of the following year are more than the previous year, but the results of the following year are higher than the previous year, which is very valuable. The Government members have made great efforts, "early and evening" to complete the assigned tasks.
Stating that from now until the end of the year, there is not a long time, there is a lot of work, high requirements, progress requires timeliness, quality must be improved, the Prime Minister emphasized that determination must be very high, efforts must be great, actions must be very drastic, effective, with focus, key points, work done, work done.
Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and localities must seriously and on time, ensure the quality of assigned tasks; uphold the responsibility of Ministers, Heads of Agencies, and Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and cities.
The Prime Minister requested to review all work in order of priority, especially the development and completion of projects submitted to the Politburo, the Secretariat, laws, resolutions, and documents submitted to the National Assembly at the 10th Session; focus on leadership and direction, specifically assign the leaders of the Government and ministers responsible for completion.
The Prime Minister requested to focus on handling backlogged and prolonged projects; promoting growth, stabilizing the macro economy, controlling inflation, and ensuring major balances of the economy.
Issuing construction bonds and completing standards and regulations to promote the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project; assigning members of the Government to inspect and urge the disbursement of public investment; reviewing the operation of local governments at 2 levels; organizing the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress; preparing and serving the 14th National Congress of the Party...
The Prime Minister also emphasized the need to strictly implement working regulations, ensure discipline and administrative discipline; cut and simplify administrative procedures.
The Government Office coordinates with the Government Party Committee Office and relevant agencies to develop a set of criteria for evaluating cadres on the basis of concretizing Regulation No. 366-QD/TW on reviewing, evaluating and classifying quality for collectives and individuals in the political system.
