    According to Decision No. 2319/QD-TTg, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is the Head of the National Steering Committee for Data.

    Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 2319/QD-TTg dated October 20, 2025 to establish a National Steering Committee on Data (Steering Committee).

    According to the decision, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is the Head of the Steering Committee.

    The Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include: Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security (Deputy Head of the Standing Committee); Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security.

    The National Steering Committee for Data is an inter-sectoral coordination organization, with the function of researching, consulting, recommending and assisting the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Head of the Steering Committee in directing and coordinating the implementation of policies, strategies, mechanisms, and national-scale solutions for data, activities to build and develop national databases and specialized databases.

    Integrating, synchronizing, storing, sharing, analyzing, exploiting, coordinating data at the National General Database and solving important, interdisciplinary tasks on data.
