The Politburo and the Prime Minister accordingly agreed with Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To - Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, National Assembly Deputy of the 15th term - to resign from the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security, taking leave from work from March 1. Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To continues to perform the duties of National Assembly Deputy until the end of the 15th National Assembly term.
On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed: Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To is a well-trained cadre, who grew up from the grassroots level, held many different positions and continuously held important leadership and command positions in the People's Public Security Forces and Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
In nearly 43 years as a leader and commander, he has held positions ranging from Team Leader to Deputy Head of District Police, Head of District Police, Head of Department, Deputy Director, Director, Deputy Director General, Deputy Head of the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security.
Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To was trusted by the Central Government, assigned to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, held the position of Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee from March 2014; was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term, was a member of the Party Central Committee of the XII, XIII terms, National Assembly Deputy of the XIV term, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thai Nguyen province, National Assembly Deputy of the XV term, Deputy Minister of Public Security from May 2020, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
In particular, in his position as Deputy Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, together with the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry, united and unified, focused on leading and directing the successful implementation of the task of ensuring security and order and building the People's Public Security Forces," Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed.
