Deputy Minister of Home Affairs received the Third Class Independence Medal

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong has just received the Third Class Independence Medal from the President and the decision to retire to enjoy social insurance benefits.

On December 2, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs' Electronic Information Portal, the Ministry of Home Affairs held a ceremony to award the Third Class Independence Medal from the President and announced the decision to retire with social insurance benefits to Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Truong Hai Long announced Decision No. 1035/QD-CTN dated October 18, 2024 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam awarding the Third Class Independence Medal to Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong for his outstanding achievements during his work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Next, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Nguyen Huu Tuan announced the Prime Minister's Decision on retirement to receive social insurance benefits for Mr. Trieu Van Cuong from December 1, 2024.

Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra acknowledged and highly appreciated the dedication and contributions of Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong throughout his working career, especially during the more than 9 years he held the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra congratulated Mr. Trieu Van Cuong for successfully completing the tasks assigned by the Party and the State, respectfully acknowledged and awarded the noble award of the Third Class Independence Medal by the President. This is an achievement, an honor and pride for the Deputy Minister and his family, as well as a shared honor, pride and joy for the staff, civil servants and public employees of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Reviewing the working process of Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra affirmed that with 36 years of working, having held many important positions, including more than 9 years as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Trieu Van Cuong has made great contributions to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Home Affairs sector, especially in the field of state documents and archives.

In all positions and jobs, Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong clearly demonstrated his qualities, mettle, qualifications, capacity, prestige and always excellently completed assigned tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Trieu Van Cuong was moved and expressed his honor to receive the noble award from the Party and State; at the same time, he sincerely thanked the leaders of the Ministry, former leaders of the Ministry, civil servants, public employees and workers of units under the Ministry who have always supported and helped him to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
