On November 9, after the groundbreaking ceremony for border schools at the main bridge at Yen Khuong Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Yen Khuong commune, Thanh Hoa province), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with key leaders of Thanh Hoa province at Yen Khuong Border Guard Station.

Speaking at the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that Thanh Hoa is a province with great potential and advantages, with a large population and area in the country, gathering all the conditions for strong development. Along with that, Thanh Hoa has a long history of history, culture and especially is a dynamic, diligent, and creative person.
In the coming time, the Prime Minister requested Thanh Hoa to exploit the existing potential and advantages; continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, unity, and innovation in thinking for development. In particular, administrative procedure reform must be substantial and strong, creating the most favorable environment for businesses and people. Management work must be based on the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common good.

The Prime Minister also suggested that Thanh Hoa province continue to promote the role and advantages of the "four regions" including Nghi Son, Sam Son, Lam Son and Bim Son to create development momentum. At the same time, focus on investing in developing regional connectivity infrastructure, especially transportation infrastructure, seaports, logistics, energy and digital infrastructure.
Along with that, Thanh Hoa province needs to identify people as both a goal and a driving force for development; continue to train and foster human resources, especially high-quality human resources, management staff and technical workers.
Before the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and presented gifts to Yen Khuong Commune Police and doctors working at Yen Khuong Health Station.
