On the afternoon of April 2nd, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Chairman of the Belarusian Judicial Appraisal Committee Volkov Alexei Aleksandrovich who is visiting and working in Vietnam.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated the working results of the Delegation with the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security, thereby affirming that security and law enforcement cooperation is a traditional field, one of the pillars of the Strategic Partnership between the two countries, which is focused on consolidation and strengthening by both sides, with high reliability.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that Vietnam-Belarus relations have had good developments in the past time. The two sides regularly exchange delegations and have high-level meetings; the intergovernmental committee mechanism is maintained regularly.
However, trade and investment cooperation is not commensurate with political relations and the potential and expectations of both sides. Total two-way trade turnover in 2025 reached 80 million USD.
Currently, Belarus has 3 projects in Vietnam, with a total capital of 32.25 million USD; Vietnam has 1 investment project in Belarus, with an investment capital of 0.8 billion USD.
On the basis of good relations, the Prime Minister requested the two sides to continue to promote delegation exchanges at all levels, especially at high levels; strengthen contacts within the framework of international conferences and multilateral forums; promote the role of the Intergovernmental Committee; focus on reviewing and agreeing on measures to remove obstacles in economic relations between the two sides; promote investment by businesses of the two sides, especially in areas where Belarus has strengths such as agriculture, fertilizers, machinery, equipment, chemicals...
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also wished the two sides to strengthen cooperation on national defense and security; promote cooperation in science and technology, education, training, culture, sports, tourism and people-to-people exchanges, cooperation between localities...
Chairman of the Belarusian Judicial Appraisal Committee Volkov Alexei Aleksandrovich said that, on the basis of effective cooperation over many years, during this visit to Vietnam, especially at the talks between the Chairman of the Belarusian Judicial Appraisal Committee and the Minister of Public Security of Vietnam, the two sides agreed to continue to expand and promote cooperation to deepening through exchanges of high-level delegations and levels; Belarus helps the Ministry of Public Security train many experts and cadres with high expertise in the field of judicial appraisal, criminal techniques...
Agreeing with the Chairman's opinion and highly appreciating the good cooperation results between the Belarusian Judicial Appraisal Commission and the Ministry of Public Security and relevant ministries and sectors of Vietnam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh proposed that the two sides continue to promote cooperation in the field of judicial appraisal, and share experiences in criminal appraisal work.
The Prime Minister suggested that the two sides should promote cooperation in university training, research students and professional development at training institutions of the Belarusian Judicial Appraisal Commission; the Belarusian side sends experts to Vietnam to teach and guide practice in areas where the Belarusian side has strengths.
The two sides strengthen the organization of seminars and rotating conferences in Vietnam and Belarus so that judicial expertise officials and experts of the two sides have conditions to exchange new methods and techniques, and exchange methodologies and scientific documents in this field.
