On the evening of July 26, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and many leaders of the Central and local governments attended the Candle burning ceremony to pay tribute to national heroic martyrs, held at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery (Quang Tri province) on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025).


The program was chaired by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, with the participation of thousands of union members, children, relatives of martyrs, cadres and local people.


At the same time, at thousands of cemeteries and memorial sites across the country, tens of thousands of gratitude candles were also lit simultaneously, expressing the deep gratitude of today's generation to those who came before.
The candle burning ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs is an annual activity of great significance, contributing to traditional education, strengthening national pride and responsibility for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
