On the morning of July 18 at the Government Headquarters, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung chaired the Government Standing Committee Conference with the business community with the theme "Removing bottlenecks - Unlocking resources - Promoting growth".
According to the Government Authority of Information and Communications, speaking at the conference, the Prime Minister said that GDP growth in the first 6 months of the year reached 8.18%, the highest level since 2011, on the basis of macroeconomic stability, inflation is controlled, and major balances are ensured.
Social security is concerned, national defense and security are guaranteed, and diplomacy has many achievements. These are the results of the efforts of the entire political system, the business community and the people of the whole country.
The Prime Minister clearly stated that the tasks from now until the end of the year are very heavy. In which, the role and responsibility of the business community is particularly important, deciding the success in achieving socio-economic development goals.
The Prime Minister said that the conference will review and identify difficulties and obstacles from the business community. Summarizing the opinions of domestic and foreign business associations, reports from ministries, especially the Ministry of Finance, also raised groups of issues that still have obstacles.
The groups of issues include institutions and policy implementation organization; access to production resources; costs and cash flow; markets and supply chains; science and technology, innovation and high-quality human resources; links between 3 business sectors.
In these contents, the Prime Minister especially emphasized the group of issues on institutions and policy implementation organization.

The Prime Minister requested delegates to focus on discussing and moving towards the following 3 major issues.
First, has the assessment of the above difficulties and obstacles been fully and substantively identified? It is requested that businesses have frank opinions at the conference, and at the same time assess and make any proposals to the Government, ministries, branches, and localities in organizing law enforcement and handling business recommendations?
The guiding spirit of the Prime Minister and Government leaders is that if the recommendations fully reflect the reality and difficulties, they must be thoroughly handled and resolved to the end.
Second, propose and contribute ideas on solutions to remove difficulties, create conditions for businesses to feel secure in investing, expanding production and business activities, improving competitiveness, and making practical contributions to double-digit growth.
In which, focus on the following solutions: Improving institutions, improving the investment and business environment; unblocking and mobilizing capital flows for production and business; removing difficulties in land and infrastructure; reducing production and business costs; expanding markets; promoting science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, green transformation, human resource development, participation and creation of value chains in the region and globally; strengthening links between 3 business sectors.
Third, ministries, branches, and localities should directly exchange with businesses on recommendations within their management scope, clarify handling directions and implementation roadmaps so that difficulties can be practically resolved and handled effectively.
The Prime Minister and Government leaders committed to the business community: All problems and practical difficulties that businesses reflect correctly will be concerned about, monitored and directed to the end, how to say is done and do it substantively and effectively.
I request businesses to frankly contribute opinions, if there is any issue to praise the Government, we will let it be for another occasion, today's conference mainly raises difficulties and proposes solutions for the Government, ministries, branches, and authorities to perform their functions well and businesses must also be effective to contribute to common achievements," Prime Minister Le Minh Hung said.
