According to the program, the Conference focused on discussing the following contents: Socio-economic situation in June and Q2/2026, the implementation of Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP dated January 8, 2026 of the Government, the situation of allocation and disbursement of public investment capital, the situation of implementing national target programs, the situation of state budget implementation in the first 6 months of 2026; the direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister in June and the first 6 months of 2026; key tasks to be focused on in the coming time; preparation for the new school year 2026 - 2027.
In his opening speech, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung stated clearly that the Government, the Prime Minister, all levels, sectors, and localities have synchronously and effectively implemented tasks and solutions with a spirit of determination, high determination, decisiveness, daring to think, daring to do, and daring to take responsibility.
Improve the effectiveness of direction and administration, both solving regular work, thoroughly handling prolonged backlogs, responding to policies promptly and effectively to unexpected issues arising, and focusing on implementing strategic tasks according to the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the direction of the Central Government, and the Politburo.
Thanks to that, the socio-economic situation in June, the second quarter and the first 6 months of the year continued to improve quite positively, achieving many important results and the following quarter being better than the previous quarter, creating momentum and strength to complete the development tasks of the whole year.
The Prime Minister said that after listening to a summary report on the direction and administration of the Government, the socio-economic situation in June and the first 6 months of the year, the Conference will also listen to a thematic report on the preparation for the new school year 2026 - 2027, which is also an important content for delegates to focus on discussing.
Government leaders reminded delegates to analyze and carefully assess the context and situation in the first months of 2026, the achieved results, shortcomings, limitations, difficulties, challenges, forecast the upcoming situation and propose comprehensive and comprehensive policy solutions.
These include tasks under the responsibility of ministries, sectors, levels, and localities, tasks that need to be implemented in the last 6 months of the year to achieve double-digit growth associated with maintaining macroeconomic stability.
