On June 6, information from the Ministry of Justice, the Government issued a Report summarizing the results of consulting the People, sectors, and levels on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
According to the report, the total number of comments from agencies, organizations and individuals on all of the above contents of the draft Resolution is: 280,226,909 comments.
The content of amending and supplementing Article 9 of the 2013 Constitution on the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations has received the attention and comments from the most agencies, organizations and individuals (with 37,143,884 opinions, accounting for 13.25% of the total number of opinions of agencies, organizations and individuals).
Regarding the synthesis according to the comments (opinions expressed a very high level of approval for the content of the draft Resolution (all contents achieved an approval rate of over 99%). On average, the approval rate for the above contents of the draft Resolution is 99.75%.
The Government assessed that, basically, the organization of collecting opinions on the draft Resolution has been implemented seriously, publicly, democratically, scientifically and on schedule by ministries, branches and localities.
The process of organizing the consultation strictly complies with the direction of competent authorities; ensures the leadership of Party committees at all levels; promotes the responsibility of the head and coordination between agencies and organizations.
At the same time, the collection of opinions through the VNeID application has facilitated people to contribute opinions, ensuring transparency, democracy, comprehensiveness and substance, helping to mobilize the intelligence and enthusiasm of all classes of people, organizations, experts, and scientists at home and abroad, shortening the time for collecting opinions as well as synthesizing People's opinions on the draft Resolution.
Thereby, affirming the role of the people's subjects in the process of building a socialist rule of law state of Vietnam, creating consensus and unity in the whole society with new points in the draft resolution. With the specific results mentioned above, there has been shown attention and actively participating in the people's comments on the amendment and supplementation of the Constitution.
"In particular, with the approval rate of 99.75% affirming the content of amending and supplementing the Constitution, it has achieved high consensus and unity among the people, reflecting the will and aspirations of the people" - the Government's Report stated.
