On May 19, at the headquarters of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, Deputy General Inspector of the Government Duong Quoc Huy - Head of the Working Group No. 1 of the Government Inspectorate - Working with Lang Son province on the contents of the inspection and review of the settlement of long -term complaints and denunciations.
Reporting at the meeting, Chief Inspector of Lang Son province Dau Truong An said that there were 2 cases in Lang Son province that had to be inspected, reviewed and handled. Of which, 1 case was directed by the Government Inspectorate to be inspected, reviewed, and resolved and 1 case was resolved by the locality.
The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee has established a Working Group headed by the Provincial Party Committee Secretary to inspect, review and resolve the cases. During the first complaint settlement process, 1 person withdrew the complaint.
However, in order to promptly resolve the case, not allowing citizens to continue to petition and complain to the Central agencies, the Chief Inspector of the province requested the Government Inspectorate Working Group to help guide and support the province in dialogue and explaining the law to citizens related to complaints and recommendations.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - shared that Lang Son is a mountainous province with many difficulties in socio-economic development, so when implementing projects, many complaints will arise, which is inevitable.
Recognizing that, in the process of implementing the province's socio-economic development, we must always be careful, receptive and immediately overcome errors in the project implementation process and always ensure stability for the people.
For the 2 cases on the review and settlement list, the province has a specific plan and will resolve it soon before May 31.
Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy acknowledged and highly appreciated Lang Son province for seriously complying with the instructions of General Secretary To Lam and the Prime Minister. The Provincial Party Committee has soon established a working group, directly led by the Provincial Party Committee Secretary to direct the review and handling of cases.
The Deputy Inspector General requested the People's Committee of Lang Son province to direct departments and branches to continue reviewing, classifying, and handling all authority, all content, and all responsibility for the cases. If all the contents have been done, organize a dialogue to explain, guide, and propagate to people to understand the regulations.
On this occasion, Lang Son province also directed agencies to review, classify, and handle other arising cases that are not on the list to minimize citizens being dragged to the Central Government in the coming time.
For cases that have been completely resolved, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy requested Lang Son to complete the dossier in accordance with regulations, dialogue with the people before May 31, send the dossier and report to the Government Inspectorate before June 15 for the Government Inspectorate to synthesize and report to the Prime Minister.
