This morning (July 29), the National Conference to study, study, thoroughly grasp and implement the Resolution of the 3rd Conference of the 14th Party Central Committee took place in direct and online form.
General Secretary, President To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; Politburo members: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu attended the conference at Dien Hong meeting room. Leaders and former leaders of the Party and State also attended.
According to the program, attending the Conference and conveying thematic topics were Politburo members, Secretary of the Party Central Committee: Head of the Central Organization Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi; Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Sy Thanh. Also attending and conveying thematic topics were Politburo members: Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security...
The conference takes place directly at Dien Hong Meeting Room, National Assembly building, connecting to bridge points of provincial and city Party committees, Party committees directly under the Central Government and grassroots-level bridge points in places with sufficient conditions. The conference is also broadcast live on channels and waves of Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam and digital platforms.
According to the program, the Conference includes 10 topics: Resolution on innovating Vietnam's development model; Resolution on building and developing Vietnam into a strong maritime nation; Conclusion on socio-economics in the first 6 months of the year and directions and key tasks in the last 6 months of 2026; Resolution on building a disciplined, safe, civilized, harmonious, and developed society; Resolution on National Security Strategy;
Resolution on viewpoints, orientations, and amendments to the Land Law and related laws; Conclusion on environmental protection and proactive response to climate change in the new era; Conclusion on continuing to improve and effectively operate the overall organizational model of the political system, the 2-level local government model; On amending and supplementing Regulation No. 20-QD/TW, dated April 8, 2026 of the Central Executive Committee on the implementation of the Party Charter; Regulations on what party members are not allowed to do.
According to the plan, General Secretary and President To Lam will have an important directing speech at the conference.
The organization of research, study, thoroughly grasp and implement the Resolution of the 3rd Conference of the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Party aims to highly unify the awareness and action towards the major guidelines and policies of the Central Government; helping cadres and party members firmly grasp the core content, new points, and focus of the Resolution; on that basis, concretize it into a program and action plan that is practical, feasible, and effective; contributing to raising the responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, and heads in organizing implementation; ensuring that the Resolution is implemented synchronously, unifiedly, and smoothly from the Central Government to the grassroots level; creating consensus, consolidating trust, and arousing political determination and spirit of innovation and creativity throughout the Party, the entire people, and the entire army, successfully implementing the goals of rapid and sustainable development of the country, maintaining political stability, and strengthening national defense and security in the new period.
The third Conference of the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Party will be held from July 20 to July 24, 2026 in Hanoi Capital. At the conference, the Central Committee considered and discussed the submissions and reports of the Politburo, and highly agreed on many major guidelines and policies on Party building, political system, development and national defense.
The Party Central Committee called on the entire Party, people, and army to continue to promote the tradition of patriotism; unite, unify, join hands and hearts; uphold the will of self-reliance, self-strengthening, innovation, creativity, strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and be determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
