This morning (March 22), at the Ministry of Public Security Hall (Hanoi), the National Data Association officially launched and held the first National Congress of Delegates, term I (2025-2030).
General Secretary To Lam attended the first National Congress of the National Data Association. Also attending the Congress were Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security; and many leaders of the Party and State.

Many important contents were implemented at the Congress, including: Announcing the Decision to establish the National Data Association; Summary report on the establishment process, Association Charter and draft directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term; Launching the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee for the I term; Announcing the Association's logo; Approving the Congress Resolution.
The National Data Association was established under Decision No. 10/QD-BNV dated January 10, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, with the mission of connecting management agencies, enterprises, organizations and individuals operating in the data field. The Association aims to build a strong data ecosystem, contributing to promoting the development of the digital economy and increasing the value of data in the national economy.
The Congress gathered 200 official delegates, representing nearly 400 members who are organizations and individuals participating in the Association. The event is of great significance, marking a step to perfect the organization and orientation of activities in the next 5 years, and at the same time affirming the Association's pioneering role in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
