This morning (May 18), before opening the National Conference on disseminating and implementing Resolution 66-NQ/TW and Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo, at the National Assembly House's main meeting point, delegates visited the Exhibition of Achievements in private economic development and booths displaying products of private enterprises.
General Secretary To Lam and Party and State leaders visit the exhibition. At the exhibition, General Secretary To Lam visited the exhibition booths, encouraging businesses to continue to have many achievements, develop, and make greater contributions to the country's socio-economic development.

At the booth of high-tech agricultural enterprises, the General Secretary emphasized that enterprises need to accompany farmers to make farmers increasingly rich. "Try to harvest an average of 1 billion VND/year per hectare of land from people" - the General Secretary expressed his expectations.

At the booths of enterprises producing milk, dairy products, etc., the General Secretary emphasized the need to "ensure absolute safety, add nutrition for children to develop. At the same time, coordinate with farmers to support technology for farmers".
At the booth of technology enterprises, the General Secretary emphasized that this is a "respectful, very fundamental, core" task. General Secretary To Lam also discussed with a number of units about coordinating with state agencies so that advanced technologies can be applied in urban management, construction management, traffic management, and travel management.

Along with the production and business investment process of enterprises, the General Secretary also suggested that some enterprises pay attention to investing in infrastructure. "In Vietnam, with better infrastructure, people will definitely buy more Vinfast cars" - the General Secretary said when visiting the booth of Vingroup enterprises.

With 21 booths of private corporations, representing nearly 1 million domestic private enterprises, we can see the maturity, growth as well as the great contribution of the private economy in all industries from industry, trade, services, and agriculture.
According to Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo, after nearly 40 years of renovation, our country's private economy has gradually developed in both quantity and quality, becoming one of the important driving forces of the socialist-oriented market economy.

The private economic sector currently has more than 940,000 enterprises and more than 5 million operating business households, contributing about 50% of GDP, more than 30% of total state budget revenue and employing about 82% of total labor in economic growth, creating jobs, being an important force promoting innovation, improving labor productivity, increasing national competitiveness, contributing to hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and stabilizing social life. Many private enterprises have developed strongly, affirmed their brands and reached regional and world markets.
However, Resolution 68-NQ/TW also clearly states that the private economy is still facing many barriers that hinder development, has not made a breakthrough in scale and competitiveness, and has not met the requirements and expectations of being the core force of the country's economy.
