On October 15, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man co-chaired a meeting on a number of key contents in preparation for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
The 10th session scheduled to open on October 20, 2025 is the final session of the 15th National Assembly term, deciding the largest volume of legislative work ever. The session is of special significance to assess, summarize the term, decide on major national issues and lay the foundation for the new development stage.
The session is expected to take place from October 20 to December 12. The session will review and decide on 66 contents and groups of contents, including 50 laws, 3 resolutions on legislative work, 13 groups of contents on socio-economics, State budget, supervision and decision on other important issues of the country.
At the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that the 10th Session will take place for about 40 days and may be longer, the two sides agreed to arrange a scientific and strict session agenda.
The National Assembly Chairman suggested continuing to determine the progress, and clearly holding those responsible for the contents of the session.
In particular, focusing on prioritizing, avoiding spreading in discussions in groups and in the hall, accepting and explaining must be clear; increase discussion, criticism, listening in many aspects to absorb and explain to ensure accuracy, persuasion, and quality, especially on issues with different opinions.
Coordinate more effectively the mechanism of connectivity between the National Assembly, the Government, ministries, branches and localities to ensure the role of a bridge between the legislative and executive branches.
Strengthen digitalization, apply technology and artificial intelligence, increase transparency, build a digital parliament, towards a smart parliament; agencies and parliamentary delegates promote a sense of responsibility to approve the contents with high consensus.

Speaking, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the spirit of making more efforts after making efforts, making more efforts after trying, being more determined after being determined, being more effective after being effective, being better after being good, doing better and overcoming shortcomings and limitations.
The Prime Minister requested Ministers, heads of agencies in charge of developing dossiers and documents, and Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of continuing to promote the spirit and responsibility in assigned work, strengthen inspection, urge agencies to urgently complete dossiers, proactively, actively, smoothly, early and remotely coordinate with the agencies of the National Assembly.
At the same time, urgently accept and explain the opinions of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Ethnic Council and National Assembly agencies to complete the documents and records to submit to the National Assembly.
The Government leader also noted that agencies need to urgently and promptly institutionalize the new Resolutions of the Politburo to promote the fastest effectiveness.
The Prime Minister directs ministries, branches, agencies and localities to actively coordinate with the Office of the National Assembly to deploy plans and strategies to best ensure the work of serving the session.
