On the morning of February 11, the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee organized the Award Ceremony of the Provincial Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) for the 5th time - 2025.
According to the Organizing Committee, in 2025, the 5th Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Building Press Award received 257 works from 166 authors and groups of authors. Among them, 195 works met the conditions according to regulations, belonging to all types of journalism.
The entries are diverse in topics and genres, vividly and substantively reflecting Party building work in political, ideological, ethical, organizational, and cadre aspects; corruption prevention and control, wastefulness, and negativity.
Many long-term works are elaborately invested, clearly showing the enthusiasm and responsibility of journalists for Party building and the political system.
The content of the works closely follows current issues and key tasks of the province; discovering new and difficult issues.
At the same time, propose and contribute solutions to improve the effectiveness of leadership, direction, and administration, contributing to building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system in the province.
The judging work was carried out seriously, objectively, and transparently. Based on the judging results, the Organizing Committee selected 36 typical works to participate in the National Press Award on Party building. As a result, Khanh Hoa had 1 work winning the C prize and 1 work winning the consolation prize.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded: 1 special prize, 2 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 5 C prizes, 10 consolation prizes and 10 thematic prizes.
The resident reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in Khanh Hoa province won the C prize with the series of articles "BOTTLENECKS causing golden land to be abandoned in Khanh Hoa.
Mr. Ho Xuan Truong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee emphasized that 2025 is a year with many major and unprecedented tasks, such as arranging administrative units, operating the two-level local government model, completing the organizational structure after the province's merger, organizing Party congresses at all levels and the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
These tasks have created a rich source of practical materials, contributing to the formation of many quality journalistic works with positive spillover effects, contributing to consolidating people's trust and creating a new atmosphere in implementing the province's development goals.
Launching the 6th Provincial Party Building Press Award, responding to the 11th National Press Award - 2026, Mr. Ho Xuan Truong emphasized that 2026 is of particular importance, being the first year to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, organize elections of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, and implement new development goals of the province.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee expects that the 2026 season will have more in-depth journalistic works, full of combativeness, criticalism, and science, contributing to improving the effectiveness of propaganda on Party building, towards the goal of building Khanh Hoa province to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
