On the afternoon of June 10, in Hanoi, Inspection and Supervision Team No. 12 of the Politburo and Secretariat, led by Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, held a Conference to approve the Draft Report on the results of inspection at the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission (QTW).
On the Central Committee side, the conference was attended by General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense; General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
After listening to the draft report on the results of inspection and supervision and the exchanged opinions, concluding the Conference, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized that the Inspection and Supervision Delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, attempts and achievements of the Central Government in the past time, completing a large volume of work, ensuring the set requirements.
In which, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense have led and directed Party committees and Party organizations at all levels to thoroughly grasp and seriously, promptly, and effectively implement the resolutions and conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on adjusting and organizing the apparatus of agencies and military units to ensure "refined, streamlined, and strong".
At the same time, he has led and directed Party committees and commanders at all levels throughout the army to focus on synchronously and drastically implementing solutions to adjust the organizational structure, consolidate the organizational structure of agencies and units, especially improving the capacity of the Military Command of communes, wards, and special zones. Promptly remove difficulties, obstacles, and inadequacies, meeting the requirements of military and national defense tasks in implementing local government at 2 levels.
Assessing the implementation of solutions to ensure 10% or more growth, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu noted that the Central Military Command and the Ministry of National Defense have paid attention to leading and directing the development of the national defense economy in strategic areas and strategic fields; participating in research, forecasting, proposing, and recommending solutions to contribute to maintaining a peaceful and stable environment to serve national development. Actively participating in social security activities, search and rescue, maintaining stability and improving people's lives.
Regarding the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat clearly stated that there are many works and products with high scientific and practical value, especially dual-use technologies and products with the ability to be widely applied, improve national technological autonomy capacity and promote the development of the defense industry, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Party Committee, General Phan Van Giang affirmed that the Standing Committee of the Central Party Committee seriously absorbs and fully grasps the directing contents of the Standing Committee of the Secretariat and the opinions contributed by members of the Delegation; urgently develop detailed plans in each field, ensuring to overcome the shortcomings and limitations that have been pointed out, striving to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
