On the afternoon of July 24, the Party Central Committee Office issued a press release on the fifth working day and closing the third Conference of the 14th Party Central Committee.
According to the press release, on the morning of July 24, 2026, the third Conference of the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Party will work at the Hall.
Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, on behalf of the Politburo, chaired the discussion.
The Central Committee and delegates discussed and gave opinions on 3 contents:
(1) Preliminary report on 1 year of operation of the overall organizational model of the political system, 2-level local government model.
(2) Report on the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year and directions and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
(3) Report on Party building and political system work in the first 6 months of the year and directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
The Politburo and the Secretariat met to give opinions on the reports on receiving and explaining the discussion opinions of the Central Government.
In the afternoon, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, on behalf of the Politburo, chaired the Conference. The Central Committee and delegates attended the closing session of the Conference at the Hall to listen to the Politburo's report on receiving and explaining the contents that the Central Committee had discussed and contributed opinions.
Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, on behalf of the Politburo, presented the Report on receiving and explaining the Central Committee's opinions discussed on the group of contents on Party building work.
Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, on behalf of the Politburo, presented the Report on receiving and explaining the Central Government's opinions discussed on the group of contents on socio-economics and national development.
General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security - on behalf of the Politburo presented the Report on receiving and explaining the opinions of the Central Committee discussing the group of contents on building a safe and national security society.
The Central Committee discussed and gave opinions on the above contents and voted to approve the Resolution of the 3rd Conference of the 14th Central Committee of the Party.
General Secretary and President To Lam delivered the closing speech at the Conference.
The Communiqué also clearly stated that the Party Central Committee called on the entire Party, people, and army to continue to promote the tradition of patriotism; unite, unify, join hands and hearts; uphold the will of self-reliance, self-strengthening, innovation, creativity, strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and be determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
