On the morning of February 7, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Provincial Party Committee member, Head of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission confirmed to Lao Dong that he had voluntarily resigned from work and retired early.
Mr. Anh Tuan's resignation took place in the context that Khanh Hoa province, along with other localities and the Central Government, are restructuring the political system towards streamlining and operating effectively and efficiently according to the resolutions and directions of the Central Party Committee.
On the same morning, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee chaired an expanded Provincial Party Committee meeting. At this meeting, Khanh Hoa announced decisions on organizational restructuring, appointment and assignment of new personnel.
Also at the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee awarded the decision on early retirement to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (born in 1966, hometown in Phu My district, Binh Dinh province) has a master's degree in economic management and a university degree in accounting - basic construction.
In early 2019, he held the position of Deputy Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee before being elected Chairman of Nha Trang City People's Committee.
In mid-2021, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan was elected by the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province (term 2021 - 2026).
Mr. Tuan was transferred and appointed to the position of Head of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee from March 2023 to present.
