On May 23, the Government Inspectorate said that the Prime Minister's Working Group, headed by Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong, was the Standing Deputy Head of the Working Group and chaired a meeting with leaders of Vinh Phuc and Lao Cai provinces.
The working session aimed to inspect and urge the work of reviewing and resolving prolonged complaints and denunciations under the direction of General Secretary To Lam and the Prime Minister's Decision.
Speaking at the meeting, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong requested localities to review and thoroughly handle complaints and denunciations that have lasted until June 30, 2025.
The representative of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee reported that the province has established a Working Group headed by the Provincial Party Secretary to direct the review and settlement of cases according to the Plan of the Government Inspectorate.
Thereby, the Provincial People's Committee has closely coordinated with Working Group No. 1 of the Government Inspectorate to completely resolve a number of long-standing cases. For the remaining case under the supervision of the Prime Minister's Working Group, the province has a solution and proposed that the Prime Minister's Working Group consider and decide.
For Lao Cai province, which has 2 cases subject to prolonged complaints and denunciations to completely handle these cases, the province has also issued many documents directing the establishment of a Working Group headed by the Provincial Party Secretary.
The Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have strictly grasped the Central Government's direction, enhances the responsibility of the head and closely monitor the situation at the grassroots level, directing the localities to review the provision of records and explain the contents according to the guidance of the Government Inspectorate.
Concluding the working session, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong requested Vinh Phuc province to continue to carefully review, enhance dialogue with people and complete dialogue before 15/6, and synthesize the results according to the requirements set out in the Government Inspectorate's Plan.
For Lao Cai province, the Government Inspector General praised and highly appreciated the province for seriously implementing the direction of the General Secretary and the Prime Minister's Plan to achieve high results.
The Government Inspector General requested the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committees of Vinh Phuc and Lao Cai provinces to further enhance their leadership and direction in receiving citizens to resolve complaints and denunciations, prioritizing the final handling of prolonged cases.
The Government Inspector General believes that to achieve effectiveness in handling complaints and denunciations, it is necessary to synchronously deploy solutions right from the grassroots, determined not to let hot spots arise, but at the same time, the two provinces need to promote propaganda and mobilization work so that people understand and comply with the law.
For problems with mechanisms and policies, localities need to proactively review and make timely recommendations for the Government Inspectorate to synthesize and report to the General Secretary and the Prime Minister for consideration to direct the resolution.
In addition, the authorities of the two provinces must always grasp the situation, proactively and promptly handle all complicated situations, firmly ensure security and order, create a stable environment, successfully serve the Party Congresses at all levels as well as the work of arranging administrative units at all levels.
