First of all, Vietnam attaches great importance to and will stand side by side, connect, and develop the Vietnam - Cambodia relationship as well as the Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos relationship effectively in all fields, bringing practical benefits to the people of each country.

President Hun Sen expressed his joy and honor to attend the 50th Anniversary of the Historic Victory on April 30, 1975 at the invitation of General Secretary To Lam, and believed that the ceremony would be successfully held, contributing to encouraging the Party and people of countries to love peace in the region and the world.

The two sides were happy to realize that, concluding high -level meetings between the two parties, among the heads of the three parties of Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos in February 2025, the government of the two countries soon coordinated to implement cooperation plans in 2025 with the spirit of initiative, drastic, effective and actually.
Political-foreign relations are strengthened. National defense and security cooperation is becoming more and more substantial. Economic cooperation continues to be a bright spot in the relationship (bilial trade turnover in the first quarter of 2025 reached 3.2 billion USD, up more than 10% over the same period in 2024). Cooperation in education, training, culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges has been promoted.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam will increase imports of agricultural and aquatic products of Cambodia; at the same time, he suggested that Cambodia create conditions for Vietnam to increase exports of cement, iron, steel, and construction materials to Cambodia.
The two sides also agreed to continue implementing the work of demarcating land borders and managing the border in the spirit agreed upon at the Bi-Party Summit in February 2025.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that Cambodia continue to pay attention to and create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community in Cambodia.
The two sides highly agreed on the importance of solidarity and cohesion between the three countries of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia; at the same time, shared many international and regional issues of mutual concern.
