On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2025), on December 1, 2025, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the President, the National Assembly, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front sent a congratulatory message to the Central Executive Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the President, the National Assembly, the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and the Central Committee of the Lao People's Front for National Construction.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front sent their warmest and best wishes to the Central Executive Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the President, the Government, the National Assembly, and the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction.
Over the past 50 years, under the wise leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the country of Laos has overcome many challenges, persistently striving to build and protect the Fatherland, and achieved great achievements of historical significance in all fields.
The socio-economic development is stable, people's lives are constantly improving, political security and social order are maintained, and Laos' position and prestige in the international arena are increasingly enhanced.
In particular, the 11th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party has determined the guidelines, goals and tasks for national development in the new period, towards escaping underdevelopment by 2026.
We firmly believe that, under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the brotherly country of Laos will continue to achieve many new and greater achievements, the Lao People's Revolutionary Party will successfully organize the 12th National Congress of the Party in early 2026; successfully build a peaceful, independent, democratic, unified and prosperous Laos according to the socialist goal.
We are pleased and proud to see that, along with the great achievements that the two Parties, two States and peoples have achieved in recent times, the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, which was founded and painstakingly cultivated by President Ho Chi Minh, President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Souphanouvong, has been increasingly consolidated, developed deeply, practically and effectively in all fields, contributing significantly to the cause of innovation, construction and protection of the Fatherland of each country.
The Party, State and people of Vietnam always strongly and comprehensively support Laos' innovation, consistently considering relations with Laos a top priority in their foreign policy.
In any circumstances, Vietnam will do its utmost to work with Laos to preserve, protect and continuously foster the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos to develop increasingly deeply, practically and effectively in all fields, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
