President Luong Cuong once again thanked the Cuban leaders for organizing solemn rallies in Cuba to celebrate Vietnam's major holidays; assessed that the political-diplomatic relations between the two countries and through all foreign channels of the Party, State diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy have reached new heights, a model of international relations.
President Luong Cuong affirmed the determination of the Vietnamese leaders to further deepen and improve the effectiveness of cooperation with the brotherly country of Cuba in all fields, especially in economics - trade and investment, to maximize the strengths of both sides, to match the special relationship between Vietnam and Cuba in the context of the two countries celebrating the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2025 (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025).
The President of the Cuban National Assembly expressed his emotion at the affection of the Party, State and people of Vietnam for the Cuban people through the Cuban People's Support Campaign Program "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba affection", considering this a vivid demonstration of the tradition of solidarity, friendship, purity and solidarity between the two countries.
President Luong Cuong expressed his delight at the development of the close cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries with high-level visits and important cooperation activities, bringing the relationship between the two countries' National Assemblies into depth and effectiveness; actively and substantially contributing the two countries' National Assemblies to consolidating and strengthening the special, exemplary and loyal solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Cuba; emphasizing the Vietnamese Government's readiness to share experiences and promote multifaceted cooperation with Cuba, especially in areas of interest to both sides, contributing to the stability and development of the two countries in the current period, especially the sharing of experiences and lessons learned from Vietnam in nearly 40 years of implementing the policy of innovation and extensive international integration.
President of the Cuban National Assembly Esteban Lazo Hernandez affirmed that the Cuban National Assembly will continue to cooperate closely in increasing high-level visits and contacts with the Vietnamese National Assembly, promoting cooperation between localities and between the two Friendship Parliamentary Groups; implementing the results of the Second Meeting of the Cuban-Vietnam Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee; creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to operate in Cuba; promoting propaganda among the people and educating the younger generations of the two countries to continue the tradition of relations between the two countries.
The President of the Cuban National Assembly affirmed that Cuba wishes to refer to and learn from Vietnam's experience in national renewal and development, and be an example for Cuba and the world, so that Cuba can overcome current difficulties and achieve the achievements that Vietnam has achieved.
